Exciting Spring Events in the Napa Valley

Exciting Spring Events in the Napa Valley

As warmer days emerge and the pandemic begins to loosen its grip, the Napa Valley begins to percolate with resplendent color and signs of new life. As grapevines egress from dormancy, buds swell and break; bright yellow mustard blooms cover the vineyard floors, and pink cherry blossoms emerge with soft bursts of color against a crisp blue sky.

As nature begins this cycle of rebirth, we begin to embrace our connection to the outdoors; finding pockets of sunshine to absorb, taking in the familiar sights and sounds that spring presents year after year, infusing our days with a fresh sense of hope and our bodies with renewed energy.

Spring is always an exciting time in the Napa Valley, but this year feels even more special — momentous, even — as we carefully begin to come back together after a very long and solitary year apart.

Whether you’re a Napa local or planning to visit this season, the valley warmly welcomes everyone to enjoy all of her exceptional offerings. Here are a few we’d like to highlight, as we ardently walk into the splendor of Spring.

My Wine, My Garden — #InJoy at Home with St. Supery Estate

Even if you’re unable to visit the Napa Valley in person, there are still plenty of opportunities to experience its wonder. Local wineries have become extremely adept at sharing their stories and creations with guests near and far through creative virtual experiences that are poised to continue through to the end of the pandemic and beyond.

St. Supery Estate horticulturist Brianne Hoover and Estate Chef Tod Kawachi grow and prepare most of the produce used in their winery and Dollarhide Ranch wine tasting experiences. Together they host an interactive virtual tasting series, sharing gardening knowledge and vegetable-centric recipes with paired wines chosen by St. Supery’s esteemed winemakers. Tasting kits are available for purchase, which include the selected wines as well as complimentary seed packets, chosen by Brianne, for you to plant and enjoy at home.
